The multi-component Kraftform handle
Wera manufactures the Kraftform handle using various materials with different characteristics. The core is made of a durable plastic material that securely holds the shaft, even under heavy loads. The outer layer, the colored areas of the handle, is made of a softer material. In these softer areas, the material has greater resistance to friction, allowing for the transmission of more force. The black areas (red in the 100 series) have a harder surface that prevents the user's hand from sticking to the handle, facilitating faster grip changes.
Excellently adapted
Thanks to the geometry of the handle, which has been excellently adapted to the shape of the hand, hand injuries that produce blisters and calluses are avoided.

Screwdrivers are often used as chisels. This is dangerous. Whenever you need to do more than just screw in a screw, the solution is the Screwdriver Chisel. It can be used for screwing, chiseling, mortising, and loosening seized screws. The Wera Screwdriver Chisel: the screwdriver that withstands extremely tough situations!
Impact capsule
With an integrated impact capsule to increase tool life and reduce the risk of chipping. However, safety glasses should always be worn.
Through rod
Featuring a through-hole hexagonal shaft made of high-quality tip material – ensuring power transmission without energy loss, even during hammer blows. The optimized material boasts high toughness and hardness, preventing chipping or breakage of the shaft.
Integrated Hexagon
With the help of the hexagon integrated into the handle, higher tightening torques can be achieved when using flat or star wrenches.
The Black Point type black tip
The Black Point type black tip, as well as a sophisticated hardening process, guarantees a long tip lifespan, greater corrosion protection, and an extremely precise fit on the screw.
Kraftform
The basic idea behind the original "Kraftform" handle is that the human hand should define the handle's shape, and this has proven correct to this day. Back in the 1960s, the Wera company—in cooperation with the renowned Fraunhofer Research Institute—developed a screwdriver handle specifically designed for the human hand. After a lengthy development period, the Wera "Kraftform" handle was launched in 1968. Since then, it has been continuously improved using modern technologies, but its highly regarded original shape has remained unchanged—because the human hand hasn't changed either.
