827 T i Kraftform Turbo Handle bit holder
Kraftform
The basic idea behind the original "Kraftform" handle is that the human hand should define the handle's shape, and this has proven correct to this day. Back in the 1960s, the Wera company—in cooperation with the renowned Fraunhofer Research Institute—developed a screwdriver handle specifically designed for the human hand. After a lengthy development period, the Wera "Kraftform" handle was launched in 1968. Since then, it has been continuously improved using modern technologies, but its highly regarded original shape has remained unchanged—because the human hand hasn't changed either.
With and without turbo
The turbo function can be activated as needed with the touch of a button. It is recommended to deactivate it for tightening and loosening with high torque, as well as for fine adjustments.
4 times faster screw tightening speed thanks to the turbo function (purely mechanical - no battery)
Activate and deactivate the turbo function with just the push of a button
Turbo function especially for smooth screw tightening
It can be used as a normal screwdriver, without the turbo function, to screw with increasing torque.
Robust, maintenance-free steel gear

Item description
Many users want to be able to perform screwdriving operations faster, without compromising performance. They want a precise screwdriver that also allows for powerful final tightening and is significantly faster than a conventional screwdriver. The solution is a switchable planetary gear system: Integrated into the screwdriver handle, it increases the working speed by four times for smooth, purely mechanical screwdriving. One hand fixes the front of the handle, while the other rotates the rear. The turbo function can be activated or deactivated with the touch of a button. Deactivating the turbo function is recommended for tightening and loosening with high torque, such as when screwing into wood, as well as for fine adjustments. The robust, maintenance-free steel gear system delivers a maximum torque of 14 Nm with the turbo function deactivated. In the VDE version, the Kraftform Turbo 827 T i screwdriver, with Wera's interchangeable VDE bits tested according to IEC 60900, ensures fast and safe operation even under voltage (up to 1,000 volts).
