• This design directs the impact force to the center of the tool to allow for slow metal displacement
The parabolic curve controls funneling to reduce chipping and cracking. Heads should be restored to their original shape with hand files as needed. The tough steel alloy is machined and differentially heat-treated for optimal performance. The hardness of the punch head is reduced to aid toughness and add qualities that result in slower growth of the striking surface.
