Characteristics
• Includes (7) punches, (6) starter punches, (2) center punches, (5) flat chisels, (1) chisel gauge and (1) punch/chisel holder in a kit bag.
• The anvil end on Snap-on® punch and chisel heads is machined into a modified parabolic curve. This design directs the striking force to the center of the tool, allowing for slow metal displacement. The parabolic curve controls mushrooming to reduce chipping and cracking. The heads should be ground back to their original shape with hand files as needed.
• The high-strength alloy steel is differentially machined and heat-treated for optimal performance
• The hardness of the striking head is reduced to aid hardness and add qualities that result in slower fungus formation on the striking surface.
