16-piece punch and chisel set

Characteristics
• Includes (5) punches, (5) starter punches, (2) center punches, (3) flat chisels and (1) chisel in a kit bag.
• The anvil end on Snap-on® punch and chisel heads is machined into a modified parabolic curve. This design directs the striking force to the center of the tool to allow for slow metal displacement. The parabolic curve controls mushrooming to reduce chipping and cracking. The heads should be restored to their original shape with hand files as needed.
• The durable alloy steel is differentially machined and heat-treated for optimal performance.
• The hardness of the striking head is reduced to increase toughness and add qualities that result in slower shaping of the striking surface.
