• This design directs the impact force to the center of the tool to allow for slow metal displacement
• The parabolic curve controls funneling to reduce chipping and cracking. Heads should be restored to their original shape with hand files as needed. The tough steel alloy is differentially machined and heat-treated for optimal performance. The striking head hardness is reduced to increase toughness and add qualities resulting in slower growth of the striking surface.
