Kraftform
The basic idea behind the original "Kraftform" handle is that the human hand should define the handle's shape, and this has proven correct to this day. Back in the 1960s, the Wera company—in cooperation with the renowned Fraunhofer Research Institute—developed a screwdriver handle specifically designed for the human hand. After a lengthy development period, the Wera "Kraftform" handle was launched in 1968. Since then, it has been continuously improved using modern technologies, but its highly regarded original shape has remained unchanged—because the human hand hasn't changed either.

Individual test
Kraftform Kompakt VDE screwdriver sets have been tested according to IEC 60900, which means testing each piece individually at 10,000 volts. This electrical test, with a load ten times greater, guarantees completely safe operation under the maximum permissible voltage of 1,000 volts.
VDE-compliant insulated screwdrivers with reduced shaft diameter
The reduced diameter of the rod with integrated protective insulation allows for better access, facilitating work on screw and spring elements located in recessed positions; individually tested according to IEC 60900.
PlusMinus Screwdrivers
They are indispensable in work on in-line terminals, fuse boxes, switches, relays, etc.: The professional combination of slot and Phillips, or also slot and Pozidriv.
Change without special tools
Kraftform Kompakt VDE screwdriver sets include an insulated handle, as well as interchangeable insulated shafts that can be changed without a special tool.
Multi-component handle
Wera manufactures the Kraftform handle using various materials with different characteristics. The core is made of a durable plastic material that securely holds the shaft, even under heavy loads. The outer layer is made of a softer material. In these softer areas, the material offers greater resistance to friction, allowing for the transmission of more force. The red areas have a harder surface, preventing the user's hand from sticking to the handle. This facilitates quick grip changes.
Excellently adapted
Thanks to the geometry of the handle, which has been excellently adapted to the shape of the hand, hand injuries that produce blisters and calluses are avoided.
