“Rapid-out”
To change the bit, simply slide the sleeve forward. At that moment, the spring mechanism separates the bit from the magnet, unlocking the tool. The bit can then be easily removed. And what's especially useful: this feature also allows for the removal of very small bits without the need for any additional tools.
Kraftform
The basic idea behind the original "Kraftform" handle is that the human hand should define the handle's shape, and this has proven correct to this day. Back in the 1960s, the Wera company—in cooperation with the renowned Fraunhofer Research Institute—developed a screwdriver handle specifically designed for the human hand. After a lengthy development period, the Wera "Kraftform" handle was launched in 1968. Since then, it has been continuously improved using modern technologies, but its highly regarded original shape has remained unchanged—because the human hand hasn't changed either.
Kraftform ESD type torque screwdriver, factory preset, adjustable
Electrostatically safe tool thanks to a surface resistance of ≤ 109 Ohms
Kraftform handle for fast and ergonomic screw-jointing work
For 1/4" tips
With Rapidaptor quick-change system for 1/4" hex bits
Adjustable torque screwdrivers
Wera torque screwdriver. The torque scale is factory preset to the lowest value. Suitable for applications requiring a consistently high torque value and high repeatability. The torque value can be adjusted within the measuring range using an additional tool (recalibration kit available under part number 05137001001). The adjusted value must then be verified using a standard torque measuring device.
Wera ESD Tools
The resistance requirements for ESD screwdriving tools are defined in DIN EN 61340-5-1. This standard, among other things, stipulates that the tool must have a handle made of a material with a defined electrical conductivity. Wera's ESD series products comply with this standard and also meet the even stricter standards of some technology companies.
Protection against electrostatic energy
The surface electrical resistance of Wera's ESD material is ≤ 109 ohms. This ensures that components are safely protected from electrostatic discharge and the damage that could result from it.
Great versatility
Great versatility thanks to Rapidaptor technology which allows for ultra-fast change of tips or cups.
“Chuck-all”
Rapidaptor quick-change bit holders can accommodate ¼" bits according to DIN ISO 1173-C 6.3 and E 6.3 (Wera 1 series) as well as according to E 6.3 (Wera 4 series).
“Rapid-in” and auto-lock
The bit can be inserted into the bit holder without activating the sleeve. The locking mechanism engages automatically as soon as the bit is placed on the screw. The bit is now securely held in place without wobble.
“Rapid-out”
To change the bit, simply slide the sleeve forward. At that moment, the spring mechanism separates the bit from the magnet, unlocking the tool. The bit can then be easily removed. And what's especially useful: this feature also allows for the removal of very small bits without the need for any additional tools.
