900 Series – The Chisel Twister

The "screw-chisel" is the ideal solution when you need to do more than just screw. It can be used for screwing, chiseling, mortising, and loosening seized screws and clamps. It features an integrated impact capsule to increase tool life and reduce the risk of chipping. The through-shaft is made of high-quality, high-grade material, ensuring efficient power transmission even when hammering. The optimized, high-toughness and hardness material prevents chipping or breakage of the shaft. The integrated hex key allows you to achieve higher torques when using open-end or box-end wrenches.

Only testing a tool for short-circuit resistance at 10,000 volts provides the user with complete assurance that the screwdriver they are about to use has been tested for its most important characteristic: electrical insulation. Lasertip prevents slipping

It can happen time and again that when tightening or loosening screws, the screwdriver slips and comes off the screw head. Sometimes, this can even result in damage to valuable surfaces or even injury to the user. For this reason, the tips of Wera Lasertip screwdrivers undergo a microscopically fine laser treatment that roughens their surface. This rough surface grips the screw head like teeth, preventing the screwdriver from slipping and escaping.

The basic idea behind the original "Kraftform" handle is that the human hand should define the handle's shape, and this has proven correct to this day. Back in the 1960s, the Wera company—in cooperation with the renowned Fraunhofer Research Institute—developed a screwdriver handle specifically designed for the human hand. After a lengthy development period, the Wera "Kraftform" handle was launched in 1968. Since then, it has been continuously improved using modern technologies, but its highly regarded original shape has remained unchanged—because the human hand hasn't changed either.
