It has been designed to prevent unauthorized removal of so-called security bolted connections. To prevent the prohibited use of common TORX® tools, the bolts have a pivot in their drive profile. This pivot fits within the bore of the TORX® BO tools, allowing the security connection to be loosened.

Wera's extra-tough (Z) tips prevent premature breakage of the tip end. Z tips are typically the most suitable tips for universal applications.
