• Our impact sockets are heat-treated to achieve a lower hardness range compared to chrome-plated sockets, so that under heavy and continuous use, the impact socket will withstand shocks and wear instead of breaking. The square bore on the drive side uses either a ball or pin retainer. The broaching depth of our impact sockets will begin to thread the nut onto the bolt.
