• This tool ensures that the cam does not move, allowing the technician to complete the job without worrying about having to readjust the engine.
• The unique tool is designed to lock the left intake cam in place while performing maintenance on the cam chain drive system.
• A locking mechanism (located on the rear intake camshaft and bolted to the cylinder head) locks the camshaft and prevents it from rotating, reducing the possibility of camshaft timing errors. It keeps related components synchronized with each other, eliminating the need for additional labor hours to hold the camshaft in place. Applications:
