Characteristics
• Snap-on® sockets that utilize the Flank Drive® system clamp the fastener on the flanks/flat parts, providing between 15% and 25% more turning power.
• Heat treatment to reduce hardness adds impact resistance and toughness, for a longer die life.
• Square drive sockets with side holes work with ball or pin type retainers. The broaching depth of our impact sockets will start threading the nut onto the bolt; competitor sockets with a deeper hex drive require the user to start threading the nut by hand.
